Department Sanskrit was established in the year 1975. Honours introduced in the year 2004. Admission capacity approved by the B.U. is 25. Urban and rural students mostly from middle-class families get admitted though some students from S.C. , S.T. and minority communities also take admission in the dept. Student-teacher relationship is cordial. Success rate is nearly 91% every year.
