The historical growth of the dept. of Geography dated back to 1984 when the college introduced the subject at undergraduate level with one room alloted in the first floor (Now Lab -1) of the eastern wing of our college. Honours course started in 2003 with a initial capacity of 15 students. The demand to study this subject has increased leaps and bound and as a result our dept. has grown in to a new dimension with the presence of very bright students.
